Been around the block once or twice, as the oldest member of the team he has a wealth of knowledge and experience to pass onto anyone serious about getting fit or losing weight or toning up. An ex gym owner who ran regular boxercise classes that were renowned as the hardest class attended by all who came. People of all levels of fitness attended and all got out of the class what they wanted, no-one left without a major league sweat on!

Even world recognized athletes have requested the help of the old man of fitness, Amir Khan the famous Bolton Boxer famously made a TV programme called ‘Amir Khans angry young men’ and he enlisted the help of Sergeant Daddy to knock the young people into shape.

Sergeant Daddy doesn’t just run sessions and tell people what to do he still trains 5 days per week combining CV training(hill work, running, rowing, boxing training) with weights and martial arts which all add up to a man dedicated to fitness. An active and keen charity fund raiser His latest test was to run the Coniston 14+ which was actually 16.8miles all done wearing boots and carrying a weighted bergan as part of a 5 man team. Prior to this was the 3 peak challenge for Cancer research UK a feat he achieved in under 24hrs (for those who don’t know that is climbing up and down Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon along with all the travel between them in 24hrs. This equates to 12hrs of actual climbing!!) Next is the 5 peak challenge, same 3 + 2 peaks in Ireland all to be done in 48hrs!!
